Qualitative research
Abstract
The qualitative methodology is a kind of research that produces descriptive data based on peoples’ narratives and observable behavior. Qualitative approach is gaining popularity as an effective method of addressing social and economic problems as researchers are being able to collect data and explain phenomenon more deeply and exhaustively. Qualitative data is mainly collected through observations, interviews, surveys and documents analysis in order to find themes and meanings to inform the understanding of a given phenomenon.
